The Gaetz report is a work product that has been funded by the American taxpayer.

Releasing it is not releasing random investigative materials that could harm someone unfairly.

It does not contain classified information that would harm the national security of the United States.

It was, presumably, completed or near completion and would have been released had he not resigned from Congress.

And his supporters, who believe in his nomination so strongly, should have no issue with it being released by a Republican-led committee.
