W.Bro Ray Pearce celebrated his 96th birthday in May, and last evening he explained the 2nd degree tracing board. At the festive board I presented him with a cheque for £85 to go to his chosen charity,Breast Cancer,this was instead of a birthday present.
Yes, it is all wood inside no insulation so our meetings in November and sometimes in March were very cold, when I joined our DC owned a garage and used his gas heater to warm up the building, then you would freeze as the evening went on.

A welcome to the new members of the Somerset Provincial HRA at Batch Country house, by MEGS and other members of the team. An excellent lunch was had by all.
This week we are looking forward to the Somerset Freemasons Provisional Team visiting Priory Lodge 6913 and all enjoying a delicious buffet meal after a first degree demonstration meeting.
