@big_mafuta@TheAusInstitute The gas is a public asset. If the companies want to sell our public assets overseas for massive profit, rather than using it for local "energy security", then they should pay for that privilege. 25% is very reasonable - they will still make huge money
This gas industry ad is trying to convince you they pay their fair share of tax...
Even though it says exactly what we've been saying: the government gets more from the beer excise than the PRRT!

Our first campaign ad!
ICYMI: I’m Nicolette Boele and I’m running as an independent in Bradfield, on Sydney’s north shore (from Chatswood up to St Ives).
I believe in people, not parties.
@Marxicide @hendrix_uk @JohnBB40921542 Not quite. Perhaps the further educated are less likely to believe blatant lies such as your original post, and less likely to be scared by the misinformation parrotted by the scare campaigns that marred the referendum.

@theandrewglover I look forward to your next episode in which you throw similar shade on one of the millions that believe their particular god is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.
@juanitajl @MaggMackenzie @zalisteggall The independents are the best thing to happen in Aus politics in ages. Local people supported and assisted by local volunteers. They work on important issues and can vote in Parliament based on relevant evidence. Party politicians vote to get/retain POWER only.
The thousands of lobbyists representing fossil fuels, gambling and pharmaceutical companies are effectively an anonymous voice to parliament!
@damongameau brilliantly articulates the absurdity and deceitfulness of the no campaign.
Puts things in perspective.

So some have suggested i do a song about the #RobodebtRC well here it is. Apologies to the great Bob Dylan who wrote the best injustice song ever...."Hurricane" i felt this was the best tune for these lyrics and this story. I can rely on yas to retweet the hell out of it yeah? 🙏
This Restoring Integrity webinar with @SophieScamps, @helenhainesindi, and Anthon Whealy provides an excellent update on the hugely important work on anti corruption and transparency in govt https://t.co/ajkSztIAuZ
