Soooo I think i just discovered an absolutely busted mod combo on the crossbow in Saros that let me kill the forth boss in like 30 secs....
Should probably be nerfed lol
Loving Slay The Spire 2 so far, however can't help but feel like Regent needs some tuning still. I either won my first or second run with every character except Regent, who is sitting at an 11 loss streak.
Curious what the internal win rates look like from @MegaCrit side
This is the Dragon Ball arc WE have been waiting YEARS for.
THE GALACTIC PATROL is going to adapt THESE PEAK MOMENTS:
• Ultra Instinct training actually explained and refined
• Goku’s giant energy avatar (Susanoo-style) vs Moro
• Vegeta learning Instant Transmission on Yardrat
• Vegeta mastering Forced Spirit Fission and dismantling Moro
• A genuinely top-tier villain that feels different from past
If they adapt this properly, it’s going to hit like classic Dragon Ball again.
She's 91 years old and in a hospital gown. She was arrested for felony theft, and the judge couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Helen and George, 91 and 88, had been married for 65 years. Their life ran on a strict schedule, dictated by George's severe heart failure and the 12 pills a day that kept him alive.
They had always just scraped by. But last week, their supplemental insurance plan lapsed due to a missed payment they couldn't afford.
When Helen went to the pharmacy to pick up George's monthly prescriptions, the pharmacist told her the total. It wasn't their usual $50 co-pay. It was $940.
Helen went home with nothing. For three days, she watched George's health spiral. He was weak, confused, and his breathing became a wet, shallow rasp. She knew he didn't have much time.
Terrified, she went back to the pharmacy. While the pharmacist was busy, she did the unthinkable. Her hands shaking, she swept the boxes of pills from the counter into her large purse and walked.
She didn't even make it past the front sensors. The store manager stopped her. The police were called.
At the station, as they processed her for felony-level shoplifting, her blood pressure spiked so high they thought she was having a stroke. An ambulance rushed her to the hospital.
Now, it's the next morning. She was brought directly from her hospital bed for her arraignment, still in the thin blue gown, her frail wrists in chains.
"I never thought I'd see a day like this, your honor," she whispered, her voice trembling.
Judge Marcus looked at the charges, then at the tiny, terrified woman. He was visibly shaken, his face a mix of sorrow and disbelief.
"Bailiff," he said, his voice quiet but firm. "Get those chains off her."
He looked at the prosecutor. "Felony theft? For this woman?"
"Your honor," Helen cried, "He couldn't breathe... I didn't know what to do. He's all I have. I just needed his medicine."
The judge's expression hardened, but not at her. He was furious at the situation.
"This is not a criminal," he said, his voice echoing in the silent court. "This is a failure of our system."
He dismissed the charges instantly. But he wasn't done. He called an immediate recess and had his clerk call the hospital's social work department from the bench.
"I am sending Mrs. Miller back to the hospital, and she is not to be billed," he ordered. "And I want a social worker at her home *today* to get her husband the medicine he needs and get them enrolled in an emergency assistance program. We will not let this happen."
A young man in Chengdu, China used technology to make “flying swords” in real life.
He controls many drone-like swords with hand gestures, making it look like scenes from a fantasy movie.
People online are amazed and call it “modern-day kung fu tech.”
The forced hate for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 comes from 2 lies that are being pushed about its fandom:
Lie #1:
People only like E33 because it's their first JRPG
Truth:
Many people who love E33 are lifelong JRPG fans who have felt disappointed in the genre for decades. For me, nothing has hit like this game since OG FF7 (1997) and maybe FFX (2001). For many people, this is the first time in ages they've felt the rush of a New Game hitting with that Old Game Magic
E33 also destroyed the lie that Turn-Based Combat would not look good in realistic graphics (a baseless excuse made for Final Fantasy for years). For long-time FF fans who've been bullied & gaslit about this issue, E33 is extremely vindicating
Lie #2:
People who love E33 have never heard of Bravely Default, Dragon Quest, Octopath Traveller, Persona etc
Truth:
Pixel / Anime / Low-Poly 3D games do not have the same mainstream appeal as realistic 3D. I'm not saying those games are bad, I'm saying they're niche. Some are huge within that niche, and that's great. But every Anime Fan (myself included) knows the pain of trying to get someone to try their favorite thing - but they won't because they "just don't like the style"
Not only that, many modern JRPGs suffer from dialogue bloat, sluggish pacing, and an overall childish tone. You might be ok with it, but those are dealbreakers for many people. There's a saying: "We grew up, but the games didn't."
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the best of the Old mixed with the best of the New, with none of the BS of either. That is why it is so successful and respected amongst its fandom. It's mainstream success is a victory for the JRPG scene. It's made average gamers curious to see what else the genre has to offer. And there's a lot of gold to be found.

I am so sick of these fucking AI video games prompts posted from people who have CLEARLY NEVER PLAYED AN ACTUAL VIDEO GAME IN THEIR LIFE BEFORE.
They always always always look so ass
We need to keep these people as far away from the video game industry as possible
