And to vent & cry - my 46 yo son just passed this morning.. diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer 5/22. (we had just seen him week b4 & fine). two days later had a stroke with bleeding & clotting.. vaxed and boosted.. also 'probably an APOE4 carrier as am I & makes you more susceptible to brain bleeds. Right now I hate the medical establishment (I worked in it for 20+ years) can't hate these agencies enough

I was in college in the early 1970s. I was taking a biochemistry class plus I worked for the chemistry department. Since I work for them, I often took coffee breaks with the chemistry professors. I’ve been looking at my biochemistry classes and my organic chemistry classes, and I made the comment to the group that I thought these trans fats probably weren’t a good deal to have in food and maybe it would be worthwhile to do a study on this. One of the professors looked at me and said you’re probably right but you’ll never get funding for a study like that. I guess if an undergrad chemistry student can see it that maybe a lot of other people saw it too.

The left had been proclaiming they would never take a Trump vaccine but as soon as he lost the election and Biden came in, everybody stepped in line to get the jab.

@Fynnderella1 Breaking my tailbone while going on a toboggan where my butt hit wooden board that was holding it together. I saw stars literally I was in high school at the time. I’ve had four babies without meds and that was nothing compared to the tailbone thing.

The Pope cites Lebanon as an example of peaceful “coexistence” between Christians and Muslims.

Fun fact: Lebanon was literally created to be a homeland for persecuted Christians in the Middle East. And it was for a few decades.

The moment Muslim invaders thought they had the numbers, they started a civil war that lasted 15 years because they didn’t want to live with the same Christians who made them part of the country.

Thousands of Christians were massacred, Muslims became the majority, Hezbollah took over, and the country hasn’t known peace ever since.

Lebanon is the first and ultimate example that coexistence between Christians and Muslims is quite literally impossible.

It’s mind-blowing that anyone would use it as an example of coexistence, let alone the Pope.

I used to have so many UTI's and so many antibiotics which eventually became resistant. I worked in a medical lab primarily as microbiologist. I would do my own urinalysis to verify WBCs were packed. E.coli was isolate when a C&S was done. I did all the things - pee after sex, wash & wipe properly. High dose D-mannose became my friend after last antibiotic was Cipro (not a great fit). I finally tracked it down to carbonated beverages and now I rarely take the D-mannose and it's been 35+ yrs since I've had an antibiotic.
