Instead of addressing the concerns of tax paying citizens & accepting their right for the choice of Petrol they want; tax payers money is being spent on this!

Fyi: Anyone Indian earns money, pays taxes!

With that tax paid money, goes to buy a vehicle & again pays 15 years advance tax to the government.

Pays taxes on the taxed paid money on other things related to the vehicle and when they go to fill fuel again pay taxes on tax paid, tax paid, tax paid money !

And yet cant get the fuel of their choice !

As we saw the MP rice scam which was nothing but a scam within the overall #EthanolScam, here's another "Scam within a Scam" that no one is taking about.
It's the taxation on EBMS (Ethanol blended Motor spirit)

​1. The Dual-Tax Trap: OMCs pay 5% GST on ethanol but can’t claim Input Tax Credit because retail petrol sits outside GST. That deadweight cost gets dumped on consumers.
2. Tax-on-Tax: State VAT gets levied on top of Central Excise AND the upstream 5% GST already paid!
3. Energy Disconnect: Ethanol has ~30% less energy density, yet fuel is taxed per litre instead of energy value. You pay more tax per km driven.
