I run a software dev agency.
We build ERPs, mobile apps and startup MVPs.
I've got a team of experienced developers who work full-time at US-based companies, and build in their spare time.
If you need a team that executes fast and delivers top quality work, my DMs are open!
Easy to tell when someone is trying to appear smart vs when they actually know their shit
The former throws around fancy buzzwords, you can see the lack of confidence on their face
The latter holds contrarian opinions and is ready to disagree with you
One day you're going to see someone move through life as if most rules don't apply to them
and they're going to be thriving in every way imaginable.
You are going to have either 1 of 2 responses to this:
1. Bitterness and resentment.
You did what was expected of you; you followed the rules, but you haven't seen as much success as you'd like. You hate to admit it, but you secretly pray on their downfall.
Prostatic discomfort overwhelms your sphincter as you get more uptight.
2. A serious paradigm shift occurs in your life.
You see how many of the restrictions you placed on yourself were fake all along. There is no bitterness, you are happy to bear witness to the raw potency of the human spirit once it has been set free.
Your eyes glisten with new beauty
Like a child, inner excitement overwhelms you as you're introduced to a whole new world of opportunity and wonder.
The geometry of you reality changes, you see new angles everywhere.
You had more agency than you could have ever fathomed.
You just had to see it with your own eyes. It clicks. You could always dictate the terms of your life for yourself.
You can handle the rest.
If your entire life is going to consist of working and exercising.
Play a fucking sport.
Don’t be the NPC who lifts weights, hyrox’s and runs.
Build kinaesthetic intelligence, go to the driving range, play tennis, learn a martial art…
Push pull legs is boring as fuck.
Be very very very very careful about the stuff you repeat to yourself every single day
Words have energy and if you keep calling yourself a loser, or “I can’t do that”, or “that’s not possible” then it turns into a self-fulfilling prophecy
I call myself a legend and god’s favourite child every single day. I genuinely believe I am gifted
And I know I’m going to prove myself right one day. The conviction has to be there before the results
“Just lose the weight naturally, why take a drug for it”
My dad has been taking mounjaro for the past few weeks and has lost a decent amount of weight
He’s also drastically upped his protein intake - around 100g which is a lot for him, and he has also started strength training 2-3x a week
No harm in taking the drug if it helps you start good habits as a result. I know there is no way in hell he wouldve done this before
Being obese is way way more harmful than not taking the drug and staying fat
it is an unwritten rule of life that after every prolonged period of hardship and uncertainty, there is going to be a period when you are going to achieve quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life. the only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself
I saw a guy studying math in Starbucks today.
Table: one book.
Tools: a pen and a stack of paper.
He wrote down a problem.
Then just… stared at it.
Five minutes.
Ten minutes.
Twenty minutes.
Like a psychopath.
No laptop.
No ChatGPT.
No YouTube “calculus in 10 minutes.”
Just a page full of symbols and a guy thinking.
Then he crossed everything out.
Started again.
More symbols.
More scratching on paper.
More staring into space like he was trying to summon Euler.
An hour later he had solved one problem.
One.
Meanwhile the guy next to him refreshed his email 27 times and watched two productivity videos.
Funny thing about math.
The people who look the least busy
are usually the ones actually doing the hardest work.
