The delivery room erupted in disbelief when newborn Matheus arrived holding the copper IUD that was supposed to prevent his very existence. The tiny device, with a failure rate of only zero point six percent, had slipped aside during the pregnancy and ended up in his little hand at birth. Doctors joked that he came into the world already proving a point.

His parents were stunned but quickly burst into laughter as they looked at their unstoppable son proudly gripping the device like a tiny victory trophy. What was meant to stop him instead became the first story he will grow up hearing, a reminder that some lives truly refuse to be interrupted.

Vice Chancellor Professor @Sachin_Chat highlighted Nalanda’s enduring legacy of integrating natural sciences, human sciences, philosophy and ethics, emphasizing inner resilience as the foundation of India’s global engagement.

Dr. @samirsaran underlined the need to bridge science and values, drawing lessons from Nalanda’s organic and sustainable knowledge systems for a changing world.

The size of the screen matters. The more it shrinks, greater is the fear of it becoming person centric, be it cinema/news. We're seeing single screen to Ott & news on tv to mob phones. Shrinking of screen is the beginning of manipulation of the medium. #lallantop
