@TechAthletics @Big12Conference As a Red Raider alumni, it saddens me to see the lack of respect from TTU right now. Have some humility & realize that a united Big 12 is better than a singled out TTU. We had the opportunity to be a leader in the Big 12, but continue to embarrass ourselves with petty quips.

ESPN owns all broadcasting rights to the CFP.

All CFP money is paid by ESPN

ESPN owns all SEC broadcasting rights.

ESPN owns all ACC broadcasting rights.

ESPN isn’t the primary owner of B1G or Big 12 rights anymore.

ESPN doesn’t own primary Notre Dame broadcast rights.

Is anyone surprised ESPN managed to invest $20 million in its main product and found away to shun a more deserving Big 12 program and/or Notre Dame to invest $4 million in its ACC product instead?

Only $16 million to B1G and Big 12 where ESPN has minimal broadcasting rights compared to $32 million paid to ESPN owned conference rights.

Follow the money and it all makes sense.

@wreckemtime My brother in Tech, stop, it’s one disagreement. Hop off this outrageous “leave the conference” wagon, and see the opportunity Tech has to be a leader in the B12…and to act like leaders. I’d rather invest in a growing Big 12 than an overinflated, arrogant SEC.

@OvertonCroomes No. Tech fans are frustrated with a fabricated KU accusation w/ disproportionate consequences. You’d be frustrated too. Also, only a few loud mouths want to leave. Trust me, the vast majority of us Tech fans love B12 & would rather invest in the B12 than join an arrogant SEC.

@DarthBaylor6158 I have not seen anyone say “Tech runs the conference.” What I have seen is frustrated Tech fans feeling slighted by the conference based on a fabricated KU accusation. Don’t join the fabrication crew. Far more tech fans love this conference and see the chance to be a b12 leader.

Far from the worst, my friend. The #ACC has that. Beyond that, I’d rather be a leader in any P4 than non-P4 or in an overinflated, arrogant SEC.

Fellow Raiders: I too am frustrated w/ the false KU accusation. But, we are positioned to be a leader in the Big 12. Let’s act like it. Brush off the KU drama, ONLY throw tortillas at kickoff, & let’s build this program & conference. I’d rather invest in the Big 12 than join SEC.

@_bigounce Stop. We have something we can really build on in the Big 12. Yes, there will be frustrations and will have a few shit competitors. But those squabbles are not worth throwing away a good conference and the opportunity to be leaders in our conference.
