@JayGlazer@Panthers Glad he is walking away before it’s too late. Seeing what concussions did to him on the field was rough to watch and will always have a lasting memory with me. Changed my view of the NFL that day
@GabbyJo70478463 @ChrisFedor I like how regular joes think they know what is best when it comes to professional football coaches and franchises in general. Just sit back and be a fan and don’t weigh in on analytics and job interviews you weren’t part of. Can’t even listen to sports radio right now
@thehulksheroes @joethomas73 The point is he wanted to bet on himself but in the best case (like now) his contract is way undervalued and worst case he could have got hurt early in his first season, then cut and missed out on almost all the money. In the end I am sure he will still get by 😜
@thehulksheroes @joethomas73 He could have signed the same deal and received $9 mil in 2018 yet given himself an opt out if he feels he outperformed the team friendly contract (which he did). Then could have signed a deal that averaged $12-$15 mil a year in 2019 with more guaranteed
@Cody00ss @joethomas73@RSherman_25 Yeah but the point is he is locked into a 3 year deal except the team can cut him at any time. So when Sherman out performs his end he keeps making the same $ but if he underperforms he gets cut. Unnecessary risk and now he is making less than he should
@_jamescook@joethomas73@RSherman_25 Should only signed a one prove it deal instead of a team friendly 3 and they have the option to cut him each year. Dumb
@DustinFox37 They are about as talented as the Tampa Bay buccaneers, except the Bucs have a better run defense. They are middle of the road compared to the rest of the NFL. No depth and not a ton of experienced players that have won before.
