@ClintEhrlich They DO know what it was but that part was redacted.
It was likely a Chinese Yuan Wang-class tracking ship. These are typically used to support missile tests and space missions but some are rumored to be spy ships as well.
Nice helipad and hanger aft. I wonder... never mind.
@theblackvault@Docneuroeo Humm... 318 Cyber Operations Group, Detachment 3 at Nellis? There's a Det 2 at Nellis but I can't find any info on a Det 3 at the 318th COG. A typo maybe or perhaps there is a Detachment 3 "over the hill"? Might be worth a FOIA...
@BCrypto_DAO @shad0w239 @kofinas The BoE action this week is akin to the Northern Rock bank run in 2007. This could be the start of something more serious - things are starting to break
@TraderSkew@Adambarr100 @J09895359 Interest rate declines since the 90s have contributed most to UK property price increases. The future path of rates matters most IMO. Post-crash, does inflation stay low and CBs return to ZIRP? Or will inflation be stickier resulting in yo-yoing rates like the 60s -> 80s?
@TraderSkew@Adambarr100 @J09895359 Supply is limited which results in prices following what individuals can afford. I.e. disposal income @ prevailing mortgage rates. Only 2 inputs to my model: wages growth + 75% LTV mortgage rates. Leads by 9 months. Wages down + rates up = ๐
@J09895359 @TraderSkew@Adambarr100 That makes sense. Likely also have higher equity to debt ratios. Land registry has data for regions + home types but unfortunately ONS has limited regional wage data. I will look into it and share any insights here
@WifeyAlpha Pointing to a significant decline in my UK ๐ model. July was likely the top. Model inputs: wage growth + 75% LTV mortgage rates. That's it. Leads by 9 months, no bottom in sight๐
@factor_members 5-Year Treasury futures. It looks like we're seeing possible bottoming patterns across the longer-end of the Treasury futures complex. Bond traders starting to price in slower economic growth + recession?
@Dannyl_ee@StatBear@Qullamaggie Thanks Danny for everything you have shared. I know it's helped me leaps and bounds and I'm guessing that's echoed by many other traders too. Good luck with your next chapter and keep us updated on your progress ๐
@awgreig@factor_members Thanks, Andy. A great example of the market getting wise to easy strategies to make money. A large reason why so many quant shops are so tight-lipped about their secret sauce
@StockDaddy3@TMLitalia Regular hours close was below 10ma. I closed my position then but was very tempted to re-enter after it moved straight back up after-hours. TC2000 shows the last 2 pre+post sessions (if toggled on) which can mess up the most recent daily bar print. Found this out the hard way ๐
@awgreig Absolutely. The illusion of a strong hand. Playing a building straight but a flush knocks you out on the river. Worse when it's a non-gunshot straight and you think you have an edge ๐ญ Chess with emotions. Love it
