@nora_mindnotes Sometimes silence isn't weakness. It's realizing that your peace is worth more than being understood by someone committed to misunderstanding you.
Emotional maturity isn’t about winning every conversation. It’s about knowing which ones aren’t worth having. You don’t have to correct every misunderstanding, answer every provocation, or defend every decision. Some things are better left where they are.
At least you better try out and push yourself to apply the job vacancy, start the business from scratch, learn the skill than living a life of regret as to why you never took a step forward
Underrated life advice: Keep a list of the people who believed in you early. The teacher who pushed you. The boss who took a chance. The friend who told you to go for it. Every now and then, reach out. Update them. And tell them just how much you appreciate what they did for you.
Stop letting the fear of failure make decisions for you. Apply for the job. Start the business. Learn the skill. Have the conversation. You can survive things not working out. What hurts more is never finding out what was possible.
@nora_mindnotes This one hit. I’ve lost count of how many times I talked myself out of something just because I was scared it wouldn’t work. Still trying to unlearn that.

i started experiencing inner peace when i realised that the work never ends, in every aspect of life. There’s no amount of work you do today that exempts you from the work due tomorrow.
So do your best, but also remember to pace yourself.
I saw a post on Reddit that said, “When you walk through a museum, you’re not just looking at art. You’re moving through centuries of people trying to explain love, grief, power, beauty, and belonging.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a museum described so beautifully.
The older I get the more self aware I become. I’ve refrained from giving people unsolicited advice/opinions about anything. If you don’t tell me I don’t ask, I’ll meet you at the level you include me…
