Today's market action between 10.12 and 10.15 was very very thin and the Nifty swiped down 90 points in those 3 minutes

The BankNifty swiped down 400 points

This happens only when the liquidity is very poor or what we in Orderflow call thin markets

Now, if this is the state today, and for indices which are the most liquid, just imagine what may happen on stock Futures if the SEBI recommendations go through

It will not be a tradeable market
There will be flash crashes and lots of losses
Equity markets will not hold

The Babu has to understand - recommendations are good on paper
Speak to regular derivative traders - they will tell you how things work inside .
