Any organization that ranks SQL above other languages is SWEOUGs about it’s data. If your’s does not, you’re not yet data driven. Having a scripting language coupled with sql to drive AI and produce graphs makes sense.

@pdevisser @oraesque Hood top. I use this constantly. I imagine we all do. But the issue frequently is a bad SQL and finding what emits it in a JPA framework. “Cannot be done” is usually the answer. Me: Sure it can, let me kill that sql_id every time it runs and we’ll soon know.
