OF have been trying to slowly separate themselves from SW without completely destroying their bottom line for years. I’m not surprised. Start diversifying your earnings loves ♥️
I saw this coming when the whole Bella Thorne drama happened, I saw this coming when they tried to remove nsfw content from their sites in order to please payment providers.
It was deffenitely clear to me when it got exposed what the people who own this site do with their money.
I stopped using onlyfans, focused on my other platforms and have only received more and more updates as to why that is the best choice I made for myself.
OnlyFans, Fansly, Chaturbate, LoyalFans, all of them. We don't care where you post.
We don't protect a platform, we protect your name, face and brand no matter where you post.
Your protection follows you 🔐 https://t.co/EFURakTDWT
Ok sex workers, we gotta start running candidates in political races from our community. Start on a city council level. Start with Brooklyn. I’ll do it if I have to but I’d prefer to campaign manage someone else. If not for getting a seat at the table then the act and statement of pushing the envelope against the idea that we should live on the fringes of society and be invisible unless on sex sites.
People are freaking out about the new @OnlyFans rule about "hurting their reputation," but is anyone really asking what that actually means?
Do you guys remember when Bonnie Blue went viral over the caged PR stunt? Had they allowed her to stay on the platform it would have potentially cost them billing with Visa and Mastercard. That's the kind of thing @OnlyFans is talking about.
Don't let others scare you. While the new TOS is a very real thing, you have to look into what it means, and it always comes down to one thing - always - Visa and Mastercard.
If any creator does something to piss off Visa and Mastercard and they pull billing from the platform, NO CREATOR can process transactions anymore.
So yes, that is very much a big deal, but it's not the kind of thing you need to freak out about if you are just doing your job, not pulling stupid PR stunts that might piss of visa/mastercard.
Gov. Gavin Newsom signed California's AB 1705, a law that makes adult content sites collect a verified email and a sworn consent statement from every person who uploads content.
The statement must say, under penalty of perjury, that everyone shown was an adult when the content was made, agreed to be shown and agreed to the upload.
Sites must verify the email before an upload goes live and keep the records for at least seven years.
Both the site and the uploader can be sued. A person shown in the content can seek up to $75,000 per violation plus punitive damages and attorney fees. Public prosecutors can bring civil cases seeking $25,000 per violation.
Each day non-compliant content stays up counts as its own violation. The law goes beyond existing federal 2257 recordkeeping rules and takes effect January 1, 2027.
California sites will have to keep these records for seven years. Where do you think a creator should store records that long, and who should be allowed to see them?

psssstt.... work smarter not harder.
rewear the same sets, mix and match them. people don't notice. save money.
post a photo from 6 months ago and pretend you took it today
schedule tweets and spend the day relaxing...
you don't have to be switched on 24/7
let this serve as a reminder to never put all your eggs in one basket. these sites do not care about you. all you are to them is a product. act accordingly!
This is part three, the last in my breakdown of the OF TOS update.
AI content rules got stricter...
In 2024, AI content only needed a label like hashtag ai or AIGenerated. Now it also has to clearly feature you, the verified creator (19.b). That's good news for creators, because it (hopefully) makes AI impersonation accounts easier to report. But the rule also covers anything "generated, altered, or enhanced" by AI, which to me sounds like it could include photos or videos touched up with AI editing apps. Not sure, what do you think?
Leaks...
OnlyFans already wasn't liable to creators if your content gets copied or reposted elsewhere, and that part didn't change. The new wording in 13.i just makes it plainer: OF isn't responsible for content circulated "by other Users on OnlyFans or on any other platform."
What changed for your fans...
Subscriptions are now explicitly non-refundable (9.j). Fans can also cancel by emailing support, on top of the unsubscribe button (9.l).
What OF is building...
The new terms introduce "Direct Services," products OnlyFans sells directly to users, including free Trials that turn into paid subscriptions automatically. The terms don't say what these products are yet.
What stayed the same...
The 20% fee. OF can still delete any account with 30 days' notice for any reason. Your content license to OF is still perpetual and transferable. Their liability to creators is still capped at the greater of the fees you've paid them or $5,000. And you still have one year to file any claim.
Before you click accept...
Save a copy of the current terms so you can compare later. If you use editing apps for your content, check if the editor uses AI to edit or enhance your images or videos and compare it against the new rule because a lot of photo and video editing apps do use AI now. If you're paid outside USD, note your current payout amounts so you can compare after November 1.
Obviously this is my read of the new terms, and I'm not a lawyer. If you catch something I missed or got wrong in any of these three posts, tell me. We figure this stuff out faster together!
i don’t care if you think i’m “drama” for exposing lames who prey on vulnerable people. i’m a caring person and i’ll ALWAYS speak up when something isn’t right. you can stay silent for your “peace,” but acting like people should stay quiet too is how these things keep happening.
