@KwikTrip lines are insane at both locations, for no reason. When management is asked they grasp at straws - they simply don’t want to manage the self check outs. We had a good run but I’m not waiting in this line for an energy drink or a snack. I’ll go elsewhere.
@KwikTrip is there a reason both KTs near me have their functional self checkouts blocked off? Only ever one cashier and long lines… very perplexing. Iron Mountain and Kingsford MI locations.
The longer I’m in this @thriftycars car the more grime and just ick I’m noticing. Considering my total went from ~$300 when we paid ahead of time (for the Camry!!!) to somehow being $526 pulling out of the parking lot… I’m a little less than pleased.
My @thriftycars experience in the past has been great so I went with them for my Phoenix trip and honestly from the jump this one was awful.
When I paid, I upped to a Camry or equivalent. When I picked up my car I got assigned “manager’s special”
🧵
After a hike to my car’s spot per my QR code check in, I get settled and start connecting CarPlay and look up to a man with printed paperwork asking if I was sure it was my car. (License plate and description matched for both of us)
🧵
Then, it took not twice, but THREE times through the check out bays to get out. Requiring the Phoenix @thriftycars manager to walk me out. No gas comp, no upgrade, nothing for the forty minutes I was looped around after check in.
🧵
Contemplating at what point I walk out of the waiting room for this filling. I’d rather be illustrating than sit here for another 20 minutes waiting on a late appointment.
Just randomly remembered how one of my exes was gonna start offering local classes to dudes on how to get a girlfriend.
And then I literally shattered his dreams when I was like “I broke up with you cause you kept canceling plans, you should prob learn to keep one first.”
