@JuneBash I don't think it ever ran out of battery. I don't remember having to use the button to turn it on initially either. I kept wondering what I was supposed to do when it said to double click to confirm things. I finally googled it. Embarrassing, I know... especially as a developer.
I just put up a new blog post on GraphQL networking using URLSession (no Apollo). I've had a couple requests for this, so I hope it helps anyone looking to jump into GraphQL with Swift. #GraphQL#Swift@iOSBrett@Spencerccurtis

So happy to share that I've accepted an offer from @renewedvision as a software engineer and will be starting there soon! The position seems like a perfect fit for me, and having used their software in the past, I'm excited to be a part of it's future development.
@ferrousguy@renewedvision Thanks Ben! I appreciate the kind words. I’m actually going to be working on Mac software, so I guess at some point I’ll have to change my title accordingly 😁 Excited to develop for Mac.
Don't be afraid to go the extra mile when trying to earn a spot at a company you are fond of! In my case, it didn't work out (for now), but it did earn me a spot as a finalist, and verified that ambition and hard work doesn't go unnoticed.
After my intial interview at @RekorSystems for a Jr. iOS Dev position, I decided to create this proof of concept app over a weekend to increase my odds. It worked! I made it on to the next round...unfortunately right before they had to freeze hiring. https://t.co/hUIU0UkJvV
I initially wasn't planning on sharing this with anyone besides Rekor, but I'm proud of what I came up with in one weekend while still hanging out with my wife, and thought maybe someone else might get something out of it. It was fun getting my feet wet with CoreML and Vision.
@twannl I got a repo and blog post up on making expanding collection view cells: https://t.co/LuyjAydkyZ https://t.co/QVzDQyQJOY Now I'm working on a library with helper functions for auto layout.
I worked directly with Jon for two months on an app for Eco-Soap Bank and have to say that he is an outstanding developer. He works well on a team, and produces excellent code in a short amount of time.
Hi again! I'm still looking for work. If you're looking for an iOS/Swift dev or a dev who can adapt quickly to new languages/environments/frameworks, we may be able to help each other out.

Today is my last day of Lambda School! It's been almost 8 months since I started and I'm proud of how much I've grown both technically and personally. Can't wait to begin working as a full time developer, hopefully soon 😃 https://t.co/3ZhlbLvCoD
