The end of an era. The greatest to ever do it.
A manager who changed the entire landscape of English football and brought times to Manchester City we could never even dream about, and achievements that will never be replicated.
Thank you for everything, Pep.
@9320pod I donโt think anyone believes the team the first 3 games of the season with no preseason is comparable to now. Trafford made one mistake against Spurs in any case? I think all of our best performances in 2026 have been with the same keeper. Weโre so much better in possession.
@9320pod Thereโs a lot of intangibles in there. GK situation is unique but thereโs a touch of the Khusa vs Dias with this which means itโs not clear cut. Thereโs a very strong argument that the TEAM performs better with Trafford in goal. With more room to grow.
@NepaliManc I mean I love both of them but letโs no rewrite history, Bernardo has done many an interview on international breaks saying he wants to leave ๐
@9320pod@benmckea_ I think itโs highly likely Marmoush will leave in the summer with his lack of playing time so would you like to see City bring in as a Haaland/forward line option. An Alvarez type?
@9320pod@bailey_wynne2 Why would Ornstein want this though? Itโs a little disconcerting itโs from him because his information historically is so reliable.
@MJay104 Performances overall have been night and day. Weโre top scorers in the league and weโve improved in 2 competitions (so far) the personnel and the style of football has been completely different.
