[African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA) @ALMA_2030]

According to the #WorldMalariaReport 2025, global #malaria funding fell to just US$3.9B in 2024 - less than 1/2 of what’s needed. ODA also dropped 21%, leading to weakened surveillance, cancelled surveys, stock-outs & delayed campaigns across endemic countries.

These setbacks risk reversing decades of progress.

With cases and deaths still far too high, sustained financing, including a fully replenished Global Fund, is essential.

At ALMA, we continue to support countries to close this gap through End Malaria Councils and Funds, which have already mobilised US$160M+ through cross-sector collaboration.
