PARROT ART π¦ Prep 2 worked incredibly hard carefully cutting each individual feather for their beautiful pieces βοΈπͺΆ we used this mostly as an end of day activity to round off our day with some calm time π
Prep 2 have been expanding their character-description vocabulary βπΌ this station allowed them to pair physical and personality adjectives to a range of characters, and led to really interesting discussions π―
Prep 2 will be searching through the soil to try and find all 20 of the hidden bugs π π this station brings together their βAnimalsβ topic, and helps them practice their fine motor skills to pinch them from between the rope π€
ARCTIC ANIMALS βοΈ Prep 2 loved exploring this set-up filled with arctic animals today! With shaving foam snow and some colourful reusable ice cubes to set the chilly scene π§π they also had an extra challenge to see if they could build an igloo out of the cubes π§
Prep 2 have been learning all about animals around the world for their topic this term π weβre testing our new maths learning too by working out the area of the footprints and then guessing which animal left the prints πββ¬π»ππ π₯
