My class have absolutely loved this! They are all so excited to come in each morning and choose which book they would like at story time.
It has also provided some quality daily 1-1 time with a child with SEND to engage him in counting

Primary teachers: what are your daily ‘musts’ in class. I don’t mean rules or routines or behaviour things, but those things you do each and every day without fail. Maybe you always read at some point to the children or you always talk about the news or you have a share session.

My biggest advice, whether you’re an ECT, trainee or experienced teacher, is to make a ‘Why I Teach’ scrapbook.
I plan to look back on this when I am having a rough day or I’m feeling a bit down.
