People criticized Blackpink for attending Fashion Shows but now every other K-pop idol is present in the PFW. Although other groups are working on music simultaneously and Blackpink didn't, the whole hatred towards them was about attending shows and not about not releasing music

@lilmewmew93 Soyeon has one of the best written raps until the 'Hwaa' era. The recent ones are not it. She's a great performer and loves music. She just needs to stop making her English sound so tacky imo

Coming from someone who knew both, BTS made an impact that no one else in kpop did. They brought exposure while Blackpink only helped themselves with their company. Blackpink wouldn't be the group they are without the heavy mediaplay and marketing from their YG

NewJeans success is not organic. Ador and Hybe have used several marketing, playlist push, and radio push for the group to be on the international market. It wouldn't have been a big success had they started from another company
