@drantbradley @HighPointU has a 75% acceptance rate for students who meet their criteria of 3.2-4.0 GPA. Kuyper College accepts students with a 2.5 GPA. One might conjecture that their niche is accepting those that couldn’t get in to @HighPointU.

@KLF There is a misconception that only students from wealthy families attend HPU. We are not wealthy but we send our student there because HPU offers different experiences at a cost comparable to other private schools. We should expect that when paying for higher education.

And those meals are included in the students meal plan. Where else, other than @HighPointU can you get a meal at a 5 star restaurant included in your meal plan?

The thing I learned about High Point University today: They have three high-end restaurants on campus where students learn business conversation skills, interview etiquette, table manners, the bread/drink rule, etc.🧐🏀🍽️

Alec, @HighPointU should be a model for higher education. HPU provides much more versus most private universities for a comparable cost. Sending my student to HPU was one of the best decisions I could make. Go Panthers!

High Point University in NC, which beat Wisconsin in basketball today, conducts campus tours on golf carts, offers wealthy students private housing for $40,000 per year and built an "airplane-cabin interior" so that students could rehearse sitting next to an executive on a plane.

@JetBlue we’ve been sitting in a plane for 4 hours on the BOS tarmac. Your app is about an hour behind and no one can tell us when we are leaving. This is ridiculous. How about an accurate update?

@JetBlue It was delayed because we backed into a snowbank and the pilot thought the emergency brake was frozen. We sat there for two hours thinking there was a mechanical issue. Now we are sitting at the gate waiting for the waste to be emptied. Ridiculous!
