RULES ARE RULES UPDATE: Daughter started high school today and sure enough, I picked up the Rule book and studying every line. I will know them, comply with them and challenge them through the appropriate medium if they are in anyway a concern.

Quick question to the friends and folks challenging school rules, is this worth reading or should I just ask my daughter to ignore them? 😃

Anyway, one thing that stuck out on page 18 that I encourage parents to follow:

"The role that parents/guardians play in cooperating with the school is most important as the school seeks to work with parents/guardians in the development of their children to maximise their potential in all spheres of life."

I encourage all parents to support their child this academic year as we work as a community to help students achieve their full potential.

"Life Abundant More!" 🙏😃

No Sir,
You would have to occupy the land undisturbed for all those years- meaning no owner/ agent came to give you Notice to Vacate nor pursue legal action to remove you.
For years the owners have pursued to obtain vacant possession.

I had such a lovely banking experience doing my car loan with CIBC, right to the very end when I collected my title. I don’t even want to shop around next time around.

In Jamaica, once you’ve worked at least 110 days, you begin earning vacation leave, typically one day for every 22 days worked, or up to two weeks per year. If you resign before using it all, you’ll be paid for the balance.
