this way the team is aware of where you're headed and where you need to be.
4. Open door policy 🚪
Have a physically accessible presence.
Saying "my door's always open" isn't enough.
Try that there are no physical doors between you and your team
to encourage approach and access
3. Provide constructive feedback
As a team lead you should learn to provide constructive criticism 🧱
It allows the team to build and improve upwards instead of going in circles.
2. Value face-to-face time 🗣️
Some meetings really could be emails
and that's not an efficient use of your time
In other cases, in-person interactions can solve for things getting lost in translation.
Make smart use of that time.
1. Choose a channel and stick to it
Is your team more responsive over email or a messaging app?
Sticking to 1 channel will help the team be on the same page at all times 🍯
