@LiveAncestral In fact, ‘textbooks’ do talk about this. It’s part of many an understanding of Inuit diet — they consume the raw organs of arctic animals alongside whale blubber (muktuk) because both are high in Vitamins C and D.
Once again, no conspiracy.
@SashaGusevPosts@rtnarch That’s fantastic that it’s starting to become more affordable for some. Now, I wonder what it would look like if you graphed the trend out to say 1975?
@rtnarch Or, you might also admit that as a member of the 0.01%, you simply don’t like his view of extreme wealth discrepancy in the US and how billionaires should pay more taxes.
@fnveenie@ivandemigoal Not worried.
Habs upgrades are Demidov, Slaf, Kapanen, Hutson, Dobes/Fowler all getting better as they mature and gain more experience. Compared to aging vets on other teams beginning to decline.
And Hughes is far from done likely.
@_JordanDecker@habsburners Don’t know if I believe the rumors, but I’m not against it. Dobes may be at his peak value right now after an impressive playoff run and Fowler is still our 1G of the future (far better fundamentals). Not unlike the Halak-Price ‘controversy’ of 15 years ago.
We live in a post-truth era where what people want to believe matters more than what the evidence shows.
Take glyphosate. Vaccines. GMOs.
Decades of research, thousands of studies, and reviews by independent scientific bodies have produced an overwhelming body of evidence.
Yet for many people, a viral post, a documentary, or a compelling anecdote carries more weight than the science.
The greatest challenge facing science today isn’t a lack of evidence. It’s that evidence no longer changes minds.
