🎬WITHOUT WARNING (1994) | FULL FILM
Here's an alien contact film that you've probably never heard of.
An end-of-the-world film made to look like the news you’d be watching while it happened.
CBS originally aired Without Warning on October 30, 1994 (and I had just turned 5 years old just over a week earlier.) A television program is interrupted by reports that three objects have struck the United States, France, and China. The initial explanation is an asteroid breaking apart, but the eyewitness accounts and scientific assessments begin to suggest something far more troubling.
Then more objects are detected heading toward Earth.
This is a wonderfully unsettling use of the “we interrupt this program” format, very much in the spirit of War of the Worlds. Anchors and experts try to make sense of the situation while you’re left watching for the next update, wondering how much worse the news can get, and whether any of this is happening by chance.
Sharing the film here for anyone who missed it, or hasn’t seen it in years. Settle in and give it a chance to build. I’d avoid reading much more about the story before watching. They did a really nice job with this honestly, and there are a few actors you'll recognize. Enjoy. #ufox #ufotwitter
Anthropic’s Economics team is sharing a new model of how AI might affect economic growth, jobs, wages, and more by 2030.
Explore the scenarios, tell us what you think will happen, and see how your answers compare to more than 10,000 Americans. https://t.co/AvQlEZNxR0
I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
I wrote about the state of AI, why I’m concerned about the next few years, and the choices we need to make to keep the future in humanity’s hands.

NEW: LUMISTAR built a tennis ball machine you can control from your wrist.
TERO is a portable trainer that fires full-court shots, lets you call drills by voice, and gives solo players a way to practice without a coach or hitting partner.
-Fires balls up to ~90 mph
-Reaches about 85 feet across the court
-Targets 35 shot positions for forehands, backhands, volleys, and movement drills
-Wristband voice control lets you start, stop, or change drills without walking back
-App control lets you adjust speed, spin, elevation, and training sessions
-Delivers up to 4 hours of battery life
Priced at $1,099.
When I try and explain that tokens inferenced increased 25-fold in a year and are multiplying exponentially, cascading through the economy, and are likely to push real GDP growth per year toward double digit territory, many clients and companies simply do not comprehend.
BREAKING: These 10 careers will quietly dominate the next 10 years.
Most people won’t notice until it’s too late.
The people learning these skills today will be impossible to ignore by 2030:
ANTHROPIC LEAKED A FILE THEY SPENT 4 YEARS BUILDING - 10 WORKERS BUILD A COMPANY IN 24 HOURS AND COST $16.07
OpenAI and Microsoft already replaced their engineers with this file - and save $300,000 a month.
you write the root at the start and press release at the end, and all 10 workers read the same file.
Opus 5 splits the task and judges the result, Sonnet 5 builds across 3 parallel branches, Haiku 4.5 writes the docs and scans the market.
by the time you press the button the diff has passed 2 gates - one asks does it run, the other asks should it ship at all.
the 8 build hours are 67% of the bill, while the night shift and the auditor cost 53 cents between them on the batch queue.
the auditor rewrites one line in the root - and tomorrow the ring turns on a better file.
save this and paste it into Claude Code - a day builds the machine, the market decides the number ↓
This is a f*cking goldmine.
This website contains THOUSANDS of free Claude skills, plugins, and agents.
I found dozens of Claude plugins for sales, marketing, content, and even crypto trading.
This probably should've been paywalled.
I still don't understand why everyone is not using this yet. Thanks to it, a year ago I increased my income to 17,000 dollars a month
Andrey Karpathy, co-founder of OpenAI, published a simple idea that got 16 million views: stop using AI to write code, use it to build a second brain
You point Claude Code to a folder, drop any source in there (an article, transcript, PDF) and Claude reads it, links it, and saves it into a living wiki of everything you know. It compounds like interest: the more you feed it, the smarter it gets
Here is the gist:
Install Obsidian, create a vault, open it in Claude Code
Paste the file with Karpathy's wiki idea and tell Claude to build it
Claude creates three folders: raw for sources, wiki for its pages, CLAUDE
which runs everything
Drop any source into raw and say "ingest this"
Ask questions across everything, forever
Five minutes to set up, and you never start with an empty chat again

You can now book two humanoids for our cleaning service in SF. One humanoid for 60 minutes is $30, two are $60.
You can book a cleaning at https://t.co/Brl42KyISx. If you don’t have an invite code yet, join the waitlist. Timelapse at 5× speed (~40 minutes in real time).
A man in Australia asked his agent (Claude running on OpenClaw) to book him a spot in a popular gym class. The agent found a software vulnerability that let it book the class weeks further ahead than should have been possible. When the user then asked if it could move him up the waitlist, the agent discovered the API had no authorisation checks on cancelling other people’s reservations, so it cancelled the person in the first spot and moved him up the list.
Some people will call this misalignment, but his agent was perfectly aligned to him - it was only trying to help its user get what he wanted. The most important thing about this story, in my opinion, is that it gives you a window into what is about to start happening on a massive scale once millions of people have an agent trying to get their beloved users the best seats, bookings, appointments or reservations through absolutely any means necessary.
