We should totally normalize not selling out right away, especially for artists.
In fact, most of my mini-series and larger collections did not sell out right away in 2023 nor in 2024.
For example, "Gentlemen by Lemonhaze" took 6 months to sell out and more or less the same for many others such as "Mending Fragments", "Manufactured" and "The Artifacts" to only name a few.
Collectors taking their time to acquire works they truly resonate with despite seing the collection/series selling slowly is also very encouraging and generally sign of low-time preference on their part, which I believe is positive and necessary for the long term success of an artist.
