Flying to San Francisco today ✈️ I'll be there for a few weeks, including Tech Week.
If you're building something cool or you're around the Bay, reach out. Always up for a coffee ☕
@task3d_official Thanks! The one in the video (200 mm, 0.2 mm nozzle) is 39 g of PLA, ~13 m, about 5 h. The big green one (250 mm, 0.4 mm nozzle) is 62 g, ~3 h. Cheaper than a real record, sounds like a phone call from 1902.

I 3D printed a record and it plays. PLA, 0.4 mm nozzle, ~3 hours. Lo-fi, but you recognise the song from across the room. No needles were harmed in this experiment (cheap stylus, though).

Two discs ready to print, 0.4 and 0.2 mm nozzle, two colours with one filament change:

⚠️ PUBLIC WARNING ⚠️
Two young men have been spotted at startup and tech events in Wrocław, then in other major Polish cities. Recent reports place them abroad as well.
Witnesses say they approach talented people and start conversations about "building something big". They keep repeating words like MRR, unicorns and community. Several victims recall being told they "could achieve serious success" if they joined.
They seem friendly. That's how they get you.
Important details for identification:
the photo below is the most recent one available
one of them has since slightly changed his appearance. The long hair and the mustache are gone. Do not let this fool you, it is the same man
there is allegedly a third one. Nobody has ever managed to photograph him, which somehow makes it worse
they talk about customers more than about technology and get unusually excited about furniture
If approached, do NOT give them your contact details. You may wake up three months later running growth experiments at 11 PM and calling it fun.
(And if you read a warning like this and feel drawn to these individuals instead of running away: that is exactly the type they are looking for. Apparently their DMs are open.)
