#Type1Diabetes is ruthless and relentless. Don’t forget to remind yourself that you are brave and strong for dealing with it. It’s easy to get discouraged, but you face it everyday. You are truly a diabadass💪
I have NEVER been so upset with @dexcom. 3 consecutive sensor failures, leaving me without my CGM until Tuesday. Customer technician was rude and didn’t listen to me at all. 😪😪😪
@MidAmericanMom I’ve been on Medtronic’s early CGMs so I can’t speak for them currently, but Dexcom is usually amazing. It’s revolutionized my life.
Summer heat will definitely mess with your trends! Stay hydrated and stick with a good carb/protein balance.
@jpnairn @yhfncmkdken @sisterhoebot @dexcom To be fair, I’ve been on Dexcom for 3 years and it’s revolutionized my life. I haven’t been hospitalized and my a1c went from a 10 to a 6. I’m having issues, yes, but I don’t foresee myself examining other options anytime soon.
This is the only genuine headline I’ve seen regarding the Colorado law.
Price caps on drugs are the only way insulin will ever truly be affordable. Insurance companies will find eventually find loopholes.
I used to let overnight highs like this ruin my day. Now I’ve learned to let it go and remember that I am human, and life with Type 1 Diabetes is never easy.
Hey @novonordisk, you posted this on your Instagram earlier for the #10YearChallenge and since deleted it. Your insulin prices have risen 500% over the past 10 years. You’re killing people.
I wouldn’t really call that ”consistent.”
I’d call it “murder.”
