@davidasinclair@TheAlanAragon@theproof you’re saying OJ is bad for you to a generation that has been bombarded with headlines that say “everything gives you cancer and will kill you” got to read the room a little better next time
I jacked off. Not for pleasure but because I wanted to dirty myself. It’s disgusting for men to masturbate. It’s shameful and gross. I wanted to be gross, I’m a monster. A monster pretending to be human isn’t right, I’ve forgotten my place. I’m a dirty disgusting monster.
9 years ago today we lost Rich Piana. He was arguably one of the first bodybuilders to really understand the internet as its own medium, rather than treating YouTube and IG as places to dump clips.
The eating, the cars, the tattoos, the massive arms, the arguments, the 5% mentality, the completely unfiltered discussions about drugs and bodybuilding. It was basically bodybuilding reality television produced by himself.
RIP to the absolute legend.
This is peak low-T behavior:
As cowardly as this sounds - one of the biggest reasons I waited so long to start TRT was pure fear of what people would think.
I had built an identity with my friends around training and nutrition. I was usually the fittest guy among them.
Despite my test levels sitting in the 200s, I delayed for years because I didn’t want people to look at the work I put in and write it off as “just the injection.” Cheater cheater cheater replayed in my head.
I grew up a people-pleaser, so I avoided rejection (like dudes avoid training to failure).
But after becoming a father, seeing my energy levels diving, life demands increasing, and relationship issues hitting a boiling point, I knew I had to do something.
I realized people are going to have their opinions either way. They can talk shit to my face or behind my back. I’m the one who has to live in this body. I’m responsible for my energy and how I show up for my work and my relationships. Others will make their assumptions and won’t know my reasons, but I always would.
Once I finally took the plunge, the change was fast.
Within a few months the hesitation that used to run my life disappeared. That same hesitation that showed up when I needed to make a call, pitch a client, ask for the sale, or even just get out of bed instead of hitting snooze. All seemed to be downstream of low T. My action threshold for everything got pushed waaaay down.
Now, my physique has never looked better. Income keeps climbing. I’m working with more clients at a higher rate than I ever felt comfortable charging before. I’m stepping outside my comfort zone on a regular basis. I wake up at before 4 am every day without hitting snooze. Most importantly, my relationships have never been better.
Life genuinely changed once I stopped letting other people’s imaginary opinions run the show.
Sigh why do women always date misogynistic douchebags just cuz they’re hot when they could be dating men like me who are the exact same but a lot uglier
To be around other men who are complete comes with its own pressures most men cannot handle, one of the surest marks of greatness is a calm soul in the presence of other elite competitors
