They shouted loud from every side:
“Just surrender, end this fight!
There will be peace for all the world,
And everything will be all right.”
But did they ever stop to think
What surrender means for us?
Filtrаtion camps, tоrture, prіson cеlls
Is that the peace you ask of us?
We remember the Holodomor,
The purgеs, prіsons, endless pain.
We know what hides behind their “peace”
We will not live through that again.
You promised peace, you swore we’d be safe,
But all your words were empty lies.
And once again, we pay the price
While the world just watches, turns its eyes.
This should concern all countries that allow SpaceX to operate VSATs for resilience-based solutions. The UK's OneWeb system should be expanded, and a reusable delivery system is vital for the UK/EU to secure our communications and space defence assets.

SpaceX has restricted Starlink in Ukraine without warning, disrupting critical military missions.
If Ukrainian lives are lost because of this, I consider Elon Musk morally complicit in those deaths. He will have blood on his hands.
I hope European pension funds, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds blacklist Musk-controlled companies.
There must be financial consequences for putting Ukrainian lives at risk.

American intelligence shared with Ukraine meant, among other things, precious minutes of advance warning about Russian missile launches - minutes that gave millions of Ukrainians a chance to reach bomb shelters, take cover, and save their lives.
Now Ukrainian women and children will no longer have those precious minutes. Trump and the United States have taken them away.
The United States is helping Russia wage a genocidal war against the Ukrainian people.
I never thought I would write something like this.
But this is the reality we now face…
**Donald Trump's United States of America has sided with the enemy.**
Now, the conclusions. Every country in the world must remember this: relying on the United States, relying on signed agreements such as the Budapest Memorandum, is pointless.
Washington will not respect the agreements it signs. Washington will not keep its word. Washington will betray you in the middle of a war. For $100 in profit.
◼️ The United States has canceled financial support for Ukraine.
◼️ The United States has canceled humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, previously provided through USAID and worth tens of billions of dollars.
◼️ The United States has begun lifting sanctions on Russia, helping Putin make even more money.
◼️ The United States is investing money in Europe to help pro-Russian politicians and parties win elections — politicians who want Ukraine to lose.
◼️ The United States is building a political and economic partnership with Russia, rewarding the murder of Ukrainian civilians.
◼️ The United States is also rewarding Russian intelligence services. While Russia works to undermine Western countries, Russian oligarchs are paying for weddings in Trump's family.
◼️ The United States constantly pressures Ukraine, threatens it, and demands that it capitulate in its war against Russia.
◼️ The United States is threatening to stop even selling weapons to Ukraine. Trump is prepared to sacrifice America's own defense industry to please Putin.
◼️ The United States is threatening to terminate the last remaining form of American assistance to Ukraine — intelligence sharing.
**The United States of America has sided with the enemy.** It has betrayed the West and all its former friends and partners in Europe and around the world.
Trump has destroyed the foundations of American global influence. Trump has destroyed respect for the United States. Trump has stripped America's word of its value.
The American flag is no longer the flag of freedom. That flag has been torn down and thrown into the mud outside the White House.
**The West needs a new leader.**
Elon Musk has reportedly restricted Starlink in Ukraine. Serhii Sternenko, an adviser to former Defense Minister Fedorov, wrote about this on Twitter. If true, it is catastrophic.
@sternenko says that military equipment lost connectivity when traveling at speeds exceeding 160 km/h. He also points to something that has already been acknowledged internationally: early warning systems have stopped providing information to Ukraine. In other words, Ukrainians did not know that ballistic missiles had been launched toward them, they could not warn the population by activating air raid sirens, and as a result, many civilians were killed yesterday and overnight simply because they were never warned.
How does the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System work? A missile is launched in russia. At launch, it produces a thermal signature detected by military satellites. That information is then transmitted to a command and data processing center. From there, the information is passed on to radar systems. The command center calculates the missile's trajectory and potential impact area. The data is transmitted to the Ukrainians. The Ukrainians activate air raid sirens in the geographical areas identified by radar as potential targets.
How does it stop working? Trump orders that the information no longer be shared with the Ukrainians. The result: many more civilians die.
Returning to Starlink, the problem created by Trump and Musk is not merely the strangling of Ukrainian counteroffensives, in which Ukrainians have achieved considerable success this year (the Velyka Novosilka sector, Operation Vivaldi), by disabling drones traveling above the aforementioned speed. Far worse for the civilian population is, for example, the disruption of interceptor drones.
Interceptor drones operate at speeds well above 160 km/h because the targets they must intercept (generally Geran-2, 3, 4, and 5 drones in civilian areas, but also other types of drones in combat zones) can fly at speeds of up to 400 km/h. Practically everything that moves in Ukraine from a military standpoint, as well as a significant part of everything else operating in Ukraine, relies on Starlink. There are no redundant backup systems in the event of a complete shutdown.
Restricting Starlink will lead not only to territorial losses, a brutal reduction in Ukraine's ability to defend its military units, and an equally brutal increase in russia's ability to strike Ukrainian targets far more effectively, but ABOVE ALL to an increase in the number of civilians killed and the systematic destruction of critical civilian infrastructure.
We are talking about war crimes and crimes against humanity. We are talking about aiding criminals. We are talking about tying a victim's hands behind their back while the murderer does whatever he wants to them. We are talking about children permanently maimed or killed. We are talking about the United States of America facilitating all of this.
Such a decision is a negotiating tactic: "If you don't capitulate to russia, I will help them kill your children." That would be the translation of Trump and Co.'s actions.
As a supporter of Ukraine, as someone who fears what a potential russian victory there would mean for our entire society, I find myself wondering whether we, those of us on the outside, can still ask this nation to keep resisting. Can we still ask Zelenskyy not to knock Trump's teeth out at their next meeting (considering that Trump is now responsible for aiding and abetting crimes against the Ukrainian people)?
The situation is so grave that many books will be written about what is happening during these months.
Slava Ukraini!
Let’s be clear about what’s happening here: Ukraine is being threatened with starlink removal and intel being cut off for literally fighting back and defending itself. For nearly
5 years the west has been trying to get Ukraine to hold back. Utterly pathetic.
39 ballistic missiles in a single night, missing US early warnings, and Starlink restrictions. Coincidence or mounting pressure on Ukraine?
On the night of October 14, Russia attacked Ukraine with 39 missiles flying on ballistic trajectories and 128 drones. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, only four missiles were intercepted. Some of the others failed to reach their targets.
The 39 missiles represent the highest number recorded in our verified sample of attacks over the past three months.
However, Russia had already been increasing its use of ballistic missiles over the summer. In August, the Ukrainian Air Force reported approximately 50 ballistic missiles launched in a single week. It would therefore be misleading to attribute Russia's current tactics solely to recent developments in relations between Kyiv and Washington.
But another troubling pattern is emerging.
Just yesterday, we cautioned against jumping to conclusions about a possible suspension of US intelligence sharing, particularly early warnings of Russian missile launches. There was no independent confirmation of such a decision. In fact, US officials publicly insisted that intelligence sharing was continuing.
Yet President Zelenskyy has now explicitly stated that Ukraine failed to receive advance warnings from its partners about ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv on two consecutive occasions.
Meanwhile, reports have emerged that SpaceX has introduced restrictions affecting Starlink terminals operating at speeds above 160 km/h (100 mph). According to Ukrainian military personnel, these restrictions have already disrupted combat missions involving drones.
Each of these developments could have a technical explanation when considered separately.
Taken together, however, they raise a serious question: Has Washington begun intensifying pressure on Ukraine behind the scenes by exploiting its dependence on critical American technologies?
This is particularly concerning amid reports that Trump has demanded an end to Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries.
For now, Ukraine appears to be refraining from such strikes, while simultaneously facing restrictions that affect its own defensive capabilities. This deserves a public explanation from Ukraine's partners.
Could there be undisclosed agreements between Washington and Moscow?
The timing of diplomatic pressure, failures in early warning, and restrictions on satellite communications warrants thorough international scrutiny and investigation.
Because if a country that provided Ukraine with security assurances is using technological dependence as a means of coercion while Russia continues its massive attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, it raises a fundamental question about the value of international security commitments.
And that is yet another reason to remember the Budapest Memorandum.
