As you would expect diabetes and obesity were over represented in the GLP-1 group, and of course are both known independent risk factors for aspiration

@BJAJournals Safe apnoea time is the key marker of efficiency as opposed to ETO2 before induction, which is a marker of efficacy. As a clinician, I worry about desaturation not an ETO2, so extending the safe apnoea time before desaturation is more clinically useful.

…& it has ‘face validity’!
