Freedom and safety of navigation in Black Sea is vital for global food security. Russia's attacks on civilian shipping must stop!
Discussed it with the WTO DG Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.We both agree that uninterrupted Ukraine's food export is key to price stability in the world markets
At #MC14 we reaffirm our support to 🇺🇦
From political to financial, humanitarian, military and trade, EU solidarity is concrete and continuous.
With the revised DCFTA in force since October 2025, we’re strengthening a stable and fair trade framework.
#EUTrade
At the @wto#MC14, the EU reaffirms its support for Ukraine through trade. The revised DCFTA, Priority Action Plan, the Roam-like-at-home membership are all strengthening economic integration, while supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and resilience.
Grateful to 🇪🇺& all partners for standing with Ukraine at today’s solidarity event at #MC14. Underlined today that 🇺🇦 is actively working to restore dispute settlement, advance fisheries subsidies, and address modern trade issues, from MSMEs to sustainability. Partners' continued support helps Ukraine remain resilient, sustain trade, and contribute to global food security.
Yesterday, Cairns Group celebrated its 40th anniversary in Yaoundé, ahead of the WTO’s 14th Ministerial Conference. Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to agricultural trade reform that achieves food security, economic development, and social and environmental sustainability.
This plan is doomed to fail, Mr. Prime Minister. Your master in Moscow won’t last 100 years even if you were ready to donate him all organs. And on the day Ukraine joins the EU, we will frame this headline in @ua_parliament to remember your lies for the next 100 years.
There are many integration formats to which the Hungarians and Ukrainians already belong together.
The United Nations, Council of Europe, WTO, IMF, CEI, EBRD, Danube Commission, OPCW, IAEA, FAO, and dozens more.
@PM_ViktorOrban, so Hungary intends to leave them all, right?
🔴 Ukraine's PM Svyrydenko showed the extent of the damage that Russian drone caused to the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
She called on international partners to increase pressure on Russia and close the sky above Ukraine.
The @UN_Ukraine team mourns with #Kyiv at least 31 people killed and 159 injured - including the 5 killed and 16 injured children - in the July 31 attack by armed forces of the Russian Federation.
Civilians must be protected and International Humanitarian Law fully respected!
🔴 During the speech of Russian politician Valentina Matviyenko at the World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments in Geneva, some attendants walked out of the room in protest, according to the deputy speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
Matvienko's place is in the dock, not at international conferences. Her admission to Geneva is disgraceful and should never have happened.
The Genocidal Matvienko bears personal responsibility for the crime of aggression and all subsequent atrocities after publicly endorsing the use of Russian armed forces on Ukrainian territory.
We urge all participants with at least some self-respect to avoid shaking her hand, which is covered in Ukrainian blood.
We will continue to work tirelessly on another trip for Valentina Matvienko—one she truly deserves—to The Hague, where the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression Against Ukraine will soon begin its work.
Pleased to have a substantive conversation with @wto Director-General @NOIweala.
Ukraine supports multilateral trading system as a factor of international peace and security, and the WTO plays a vital role in it. We discussed ways to develop our cooperation.
Agriculture in the WTO is our undeniable priority as Ukraine remains an important guarantor of global food security despite the challenges of Russia’s full-scale war.
I informed the DG about Ukraine’s humanitarian initiative "Grain from Ukraine", which strengthens food security for countries in Africa and elsewhere.
Chaired by Australian Minister for Trade and Tourism Don Farrell, the 44th @CairnsGroupWTO Ministerial Meeting emphasised the need for agricultural trade reform at MC14 to level the playing field, improve sustainability and achieve global food security.
