"This is our soil and we will do anything to liberate it. Our people will fight to the end."

Dear global friends. The video below from 1995 shows Irish citizens in the occupied north of Ireland being assaulted by colonial terrorist police so foreign British migrants could march through their neighbourhood. They want to do it again in 2026.
Andy Burnham declaring a referendum on Irish 🇮🇪 unity ‘off the table’ is typical 🇬🇧 imperial nonsense
The Good Friday Agreement is 30 years old
It is International Law
The right to a democratic vote on 🇮🇪 unity is central to that agreement
Burnham needs to wake up.
No British PM gets to tell the Irish people that a border poll is “off the table”. The Good Friday Agreement says otherwise. Catholics now outnumber Protestants in the North, and we have a Republican First Minister. Ireland’s future will be decided by the people of Ireland. 🇮🇪
The future of Ireland is for the people of this island to decide, and for the people of this island alone.
It is not the right of any British Prime Minister to deny our people’s right to self-determination.
Today I met with Andy Burnham and directly challenged his anti-democratic comments on a referendum on Irish unity, which are completely at odds with the Good Friday Agreement.
The right to a referendum on Irish unity was guaranteed by the Good Friday Agreement, and that Agreement must be honoured.
I have full belief and confidence in the ability of all the people of our island to take full control of our own future and to build a new and united Ireland.
