Bill Mahomes, a member and past chairman of the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents, was honored Saturday as the Distinguished Aggie Lawyer in 2026 by the Texas Aggie Bar Association.
In introducing Mahomes, U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman described him as one of the nation’s best bond attorneys and a person of “steadfast character and unwavering faith.”
Aggie class of ’69, Mahomes graduated from University of Texas law school in 1972. He is ”Of Counsel” and a former partner at the Bracewell law firm in Dallas.
