@Fang8787135980 @DonutOperator the decorticate posturing when he was hit says it was a direct spinal hit, and the gushing blood out of his neck says the carotid artery was hit. Went straight through, it seems. Whoever did it knew what they were doing, that much is clear to me.

@Teklologist @_jackaboi @YALLITSCHAN @ryanhallyall You do realize that Ryan goes off what the NWS says, and trusts them as well. He just adds on and gets more of the warnings out there. Also, most storm chasers call in to the NWS. So that's dumb.

@Queenb4G @ryanhallyall When a town two over from mine was hit by an EF3, a lot of people weren't able to find the proper shelter. When they rebuilt the town, they put a public shelter in the middle of it for those who had nothing but an interior closet. Which I'm sure helps immensely.

@Queenb4G @ryanhallyall Some places literally can't have basements because certain ground isn't stable enough to have one. Hell it's against safety regulations to have one in some places. So yeah, they should invest in shelters at least in places where it's not possible to have a basement.

Since my mom passed a year ago in June, I'd like to think it put everything into perspective for me. While I grieve, I also find the motivation to learn and be better than I was even just months ago. Progress not perfection.

Yeah, there are things that we can do to help, like keeping plastic out of the ocean. But we can't control everything

There have been many times in earth's history where the climate has changed drastically. The Earth is a being of its own. Whether we're on it or not.

@rs0577 @VinceWaelti As long as nobody else is on the road going the other way, and it's an emergency, screw the law. You do what you have to do in an emergency situation. I highly doubt that if the police knew where they were going, and it's after a powerful storm just hit a town, that they care.
