@RevDaniel @StJohnsDixie Once upon a time, I convinced the music director to allow the kids to use real candles instead of battery-powered ones in the Christmas Eve pageant. There were extra rehearsals. They were so happy, and so careful - much joy all around (and nothing but the candles burned)!

@sarahradz_ It has evolved since, but will forever be known as “The Squirrel Park” among local parents of multiples, close siblings, and wild toddlers, due to those critters’ affinity for the shady space where picnic lunch food & snacks often found their way to the ground.

@MeredithMpinga My kids are teens now, and we’ve traveled quite a bit over the years. I won’t tell you they were perfectly behaved, they weren’t, but we survived. Talk to them about the grand adventure coming up (even if you’re dreading it inside), they may even have ideas of their own to help!

@MeredithMpinga They each had a backpack with stuffed animal, blankie, whatever else they wanted, and we practiced going through security ahead of a trip to avoid chaos there. Change of clothes for everyone in carry-ons too!

@SusanWiseBauer I’d think the timing would factor in along with the number, the article doesn’t seem to address this, assuming ~2 years between each. The dynamic changes with a gap between one or two older kids & the rest, or the opposite, two or three as multiples or very close in age.

If she can’t steal my pillows, she scrunches up her blankets and makes her own.
