Do you use Microsoft Edge?
The most* beautiful new tab replacement, Tabliss, is now available directly from the Microsoft Edge addon store!
Add it today: https://t.co/gRMLIb8mi5
@Programazing If you are using Custom CSS, using “background-size: contain” on “.Image” will fit and centre the image. You might want to look at turning off background repeat too.
@ajisom Firefox provides this option: right click the top bar > Bookmark toolbar > Only show on New Tab.
But unfortunately on Chrome this feature only works with the built in new tab page.
@genericidea Hm, you will need to make a slight edit to the index.html file to make it work. You must remove all '/'s from the start of links. So find/replace 'src="/' with 'src="', and replace 'href="/' with 'href="'. Good luck!
@genericidea I haven't used wallpaper engine myself, but if it can work with web files, it should be able to work with Tabliss. However, you will need the build files for it to work. Try downloading the latest web build artefacts from GitHub instead: https://t.co/mIF5BTRrZu
Have you ever missed a cool photo in Tabliss because you left the New Tab too quickly to appreciate it?
You can now go back and appreciate it with the new next/previous buttons for Unsplash.
The fix has been approved by the Firefox Addons team! If your new tab is currently blank, head to your Addon settings and select “Check for updates” under the cog menu. After that everything should be working again! Thanks for your patience.
Sorry for everyone experiencing the blank screen bug in Firefox. I submitted a fix to Firefox Addons almost 20 hours ago, but it still has not been approved. Fingers crossed they approved it soon!
Me: @tabliss looks great, I'll use it to put nice pictures of frogs on my "new tab" screen.
@tabliss: Go for it! You can pull a random, high-quality frog photo from @unsplash every 15 minutes.
