German authorities chose to provide a level of security that has now proven insufficient. They could have followed the strong standards set by countries such as Sweden and provided adequate protection. I encourage everyone to watch this clip. What you’ll see is a leader the Iranian people can be proud of. An articulate individual of high integrity who goes toe-to-toe with adversarial press, and stands his ground on principle and reason.

It’s bewildering that much of the Western press keeps asking the same boring questions. Their interest seems to be in manufacturing clickbait, not serious news. They have a higher standard for @PahlaviReza, a legitimate democratic leader (whom millions of Iranians inside and outside Iran are clearly supporting), than the illegitimate tyrannical regime the Iranian people want gone.

The Iranian people have now been under 1,200+ hours of an internet blackout, while regime officials imposing that blackout speak freely on Western airwaves. Free press for the regime, no press for the people.

Her family should never have been allowed to benefit from the extraordinary privilege of living in our country.
