@klasicalotb2@melsmedicines I would be interested in what you feel that - what are the pressures in Nigerian Com Pharmacy that make it more challenging
@Pharmacistdaz I see similar A on hospital Rx and traditionally we amend dose to B patient friendly terms - more involved doing this on an ETP so takes a little more time
@Pharmacistdaz 40 years in this business and I worry where community pharmacy/community pharmacists will be in the next decade- are we trying to inspire the next generations by protecting this generation and current political will is found wanting
@Pharmacistdaz Weekend closures already happening, along with return for many to contracted 40 hour opening due to flat funding for the last decade- in N Lincs we are lucky to have 3 pharmacies open - albeit in scunthorpe only one at a time for a few hours each spread across the day
@Pharmacistdaz That resonates with me too - team helped tremendously playing key parts welcoming doing admin for jabs, pre-reg being clerical asst for the jabs and performing some too and ACAs for keeping the wheels rolling in the dispensary - well done pharmacy teams π
@Pharmacistdaz As the side bar is green the email has been sent and as long as no email notification that patient not known at the surgery then it has been received - so the surgery staff have to add to records now since GP connect turned off - so at least our part is done!
@GMB@NityaGRajan Come on @GMB understand the issues with GPβs.Disappointed no balanced supportive response from a community pharmacist - you should see the pressure we get and additional unfounded workload it takes to obtain medication often at a loss.
@tony_schofield@GMB@simone_peake@NityaGRajan Disappointed that @GMB did not speak to the prime source to see if Community Pharmacy mirror the issues reported - GPβs stop this βsiloβ thinking we are in it together!!
@FarrarTamara Ring your pharmacy first as they may want to give you an appoint time so they can plan to give you some undisturbed time - I did one today for sinusitis and did a SEPSIS check and her BP was high (she was young and had no history of high BP) so arranged for an ABPM for her too
@Pharmacistdaz@Weldricks Sadly I agree and that room is fantastic - letβs hope NHSE agrees funding for community pharmacy to help them survive and have enough resources to improve the rooms that were originally squeezed in to meet medication usage review service criteria
@Pharmacist_News Not surprising as most were squeezed in to fit Medication Usage Review criteria - and pharmacy has not had the funding/investment from NHSE to facilitate upgrades to happen
