RUMORS: #ResidentEvil 9 🚀

✅Titled “ApocaIXpse” like it’s predecessor VILLAGE, combining the nine in Roman numerals with the name

✅The last game to star longtime franchise lead Chris Redfield, but it won’t end with his death, as he’s alive at least 16 years later to keep an eye on Rose Winters, and Jill will survive as well

✅Single player, no co-op

✅Jill Valentine returns, and plays a similar role to Ada in RE4

✅The story follows Chris as he heads towsrds towards the BSAA in Europe, right after the end of RE Village, without mention the history and continuity of the Winters

✅The game has been in development for two years, with recycled assets from Village and RE4. This is contrary to reports by @AestheticGamer1 who stated that it’s been in development for 6-7 years, so this remains questionable

✅Claire Redfield makes a brief appearance

✅Leon and Ada won’t make an appearance in RE9 (Leon’s last chronological appearance was in RE6, followed by Death Island CGI movie)

✅Rebecca Chambers and Barry Burton won’t be present as well

✅The game’s ending revolves a sacrifice of a loved one

✅”Mythological” enemies are expected to appear (previously reported to be Wendigo-like creatures) and there will be an explanation to them, as the franchise has no supernatural elements, but rather science fiction explaining creatures through biological experiments

✅Zombies are set to return, partially

✅Another castle, reminiscent of those of Ramón Salazar and Lady Dimitrescu will be present

✅Official reveal will is coming around October/November

How do you feel about the information above? Most seem to align with what DuskGolem reported, who’s been proven right several times, regarding Resident Evil😎
