@NiamhDevane @CityLCS Yes, a useful tool for clinicians might be a list of topics with a list of words to consider for each one, or a way to select words once you have topics. If I like travel, my words may be places I've been rather than "travel words" like suitcase, plane, tour guide. It's tricky!

@JohnPierce85 The study included people in a skilled rehab stay after an acute admission with a diagnosis of "dysphagia" who were referred for FEES. Dysphagia was defined as DIGEST-F score >1 by FEES. As this was retrospective, I doubt the people you describe would have been referred for FEES.

@ginni_bb Hopefully studies like these will make a clear case for the urgent need for instrumental assessments. SLTs can use this research to advocate. The cost of modified food and all this unneeded treatment adds up.

@aphasiologist1 @aphasia_ncl @gab_ev @SEA_Aphasia @mollyxmanning Wix is very easy and free, and now even Canva has simple website templates that they'll host for free. Non profits can get free Canva Pro accounts too. I do everything with Canva now. I agree WordPress is difficult.

Ours was apps (mostly @TactusTherapy), in person therapy and better conversations training.
