Great to chat to Clive Myrie as well as business leaders and decision-makers from across #Coventry and #Warwickshire today at the annual @cwchamber conference. Some fascinating discussions around inclusivity, sustainability, workforce challenges, and strategic & economic growth.
π·This week was the @cwchamber Annual Economic Conference at the @CBSArena and our media hub supported with photography from @InpressImages, interviews, hosting media and social media activity including an interview of keynote speaker @CliveMyrieBBC by PLMR's @tadavisLDR.
I've written thousands of stories as a journalist, but the one that really sticks with me is this on @HolocaustUK's Lessons from Auschwitz project. Still gives me chills. #NeverForget#HolocaustMemorialDayβ―β―β― #HMD2023β―β―β―

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. We remember the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators, all victims of Nazi persecution and the victims of subsequent genocides. #HMD2023#HolocaustMemorialDay
Weβre delighted to be shortlisted in the @businessdeskwm Business Masters Awards for the West Midlands which is a great reflection of all the hard work from the team of the past year. Looking forward to the ceremony in November!

This is quite an absurd response to a perfectly legitimate question from Alex, but to follow that up by banning all Local Democracy Reporters is seriously alarming. Proud to have been a part of the LDR scheme, and if there was ever an example of why it was set up, this is it.
Wow. Bristol Council comms boss suggests that BBC-funded local democracy reporter @AlexGSeabrook shouldnβt be asking Mayor Marvin Rees about flying 9,000 miles to speak on climate change. She says Alex is not βa journalist from a newspaperβ
Huge well done to @TheWigleyGroup for this. Daimler Powerhouse rejuvenated a historically important building from Coventry's rich motoring heritage, and created a community asset and legacy for @Coventry2021. Pleasure to have worked on this entry.
We are delighted to have helped our clients @TheWigleyGroup win a RICS Award for their work on The Daimler Powerhouse Creation Centre.
A fantastic project for #Coventry's UK City of Culture year, and a worthy winner. Well done π

Sad hearing this news about John today. He wasn't afraid to speak his mind, but clearly very passionate about Coventry. A big voice lost in the city. Thoughts are with his friends and family.
Today's a good day because it's my first @birmingham_live covering Solihullππ½π
Excited to get out in the borough this week. In the meantime, DMs open for all things Solihull.
