ICYMI: I’m honored and grateful to have received the most support from the @ridemchairs last night.
These local leaders are the backbone of our party. They organize, recruit, volunteer, and do the hard work of building Democratic strength in every community across our state.
Their confidence in our campaign means a great deal to me. I’m thankful for their support, and I look forward to continuing to earn the trust of Democratic leaders and voters across our state as we continue build a safer, stronger, and fairer Rhode Island for all of us.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the extraordinary outbursts of the President of the United States against female journalists... well, actually against journalists in general and journalism. But it feels like he saves his most childlike behavior and irrational language for female reporters, calling them all kinds of names that kids in kindergarten are given times out for. It’s stunning to me to witness such behavior from any leader, any CEO, any person of influence or importance. I’ve never witnessed someone like this raging, this weekend with @meetthepress host @kwelkernbc, just last week in the Oval Office with @cnn’s @kaitlancollins, calling women stupid or piggy, telling them to “smile”, calling them darling, demeaning their credibility. Every good man should denounce this behavior. Every person should be able to stand up for their colleagues and say “No more.”
Imagine this man screaming like this at your daughter, your wife, your sister, your mother... would you stand for it? No, you wouldn’t! And neither should any of us. It’s unacceptable and undignified. Period. End of story.
The American people are less safe with Bill Pulte as Director of National Intelligence.
He is a political gangster who uses the government to attack the President’s political opponents.
Yes. This is the entire quote, not just the front porch half quoted in anti-Talarico attack ads.
We need a workable system, including an enforceable border AND striving immigrants, who have been part of America's secret sauce from our very inception!
Most Americans agree!
It took years to reform the DOJ and restore public confidence after Nixon and Watergate. It may take a generation after @realDonaldTrump.

The administration at Roger Williams University is wrong to violate its contract with faculty and professional staff. They could be breaking the law. And this comes at a time when working people are already under enormous pressure.
At the national level, Donald Trump and his administration have weakened labor protections and undermined the agencies responsible for protecting workers’ rights. Rhode Island cannot move in that direction.
If RWU is facing financial challenges, leadership should come to the table honestly and transparently, not impose unpaid furloughs that take money out of workers’ pockets while protecting executive compensation.
That’s why I was proud to stand with the RWU Faculty Association, RWU Professional Staff Union, and RWU Facilities Union alongside NEARI, UFCW Local 328, and Rhode Island AFL-CIO leaders to demand something simple: honor the contract.
As Attorney General, I’ll continue fighting for working people, enforcing worker protections, and ensuring Rhode Island stands up for all of us
There is absolutely no occasion @realDonaldTrump won't seize as an opportunity to fulminate & divide. He cheers the death of poltical opponents & seizes on the critical illness of an ally--a friend--to attack his foes.
But not one word of "get well."
Didn't occur to him.
Another win for Rhode Island and loss for Trump.
Hello, midterms.

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter! On Friday I was grateful for the opportunity to volunteer with Community Angels of RI, an incredible organization dedicated to supporting local families through outreach and community care.
NCTC director Kent resigns over war in Iran, and as with some prominent MAGA commentators blames the whole thing on Israel, all but absolving the president of the decision. It's notable how little agency certain folks give the most powerful elected official in the world.
Historically white U.S. soldiers frequently refused to salute Black officers U.S Secretary of War Pete Hegseth saluted all of the white soldiers exept the black soldier. Failing to salute an officer based on race is a serious violation of military protocal that lead to discipline
Finally left my house for @GovDanMcKee and @keithhoffmann’s fiery chat with the North Kingstown Democrats.
Both were in sharp campaign mode and I learned a lot about the incredibly impressive Hoffman.
Each took tough questions.
This is democracy, folks.
