حالا که طالبان شما را از سرک ها و کوچه ها در پشت موترهایشان به هر بهانه انداخته میبرند، مورد تجاوز جنسی قرار میدهند، زندانی میکنند، مردان خانواده هایتان چکار میکنند؟ هیچکار! وقتی هم از زندان برمیگردی تو را طرد میکنند یا میکشند یا مجبور میکنند با متجاوز خود ازدواج کنی. چرا؟ چون هیچوقت منظورشان حفاظت از ما نبود. آنها فقط میخواستند ما برده جنسی و خدمتکار بی مزد خانه هایشان، کیسه بوکس زمان خشم شان، و وسیله ی تولید مثل شان باشیم و حالا قانون و طالب این کار را برایشان راحت کرده است. اگر هم حرفی بزنیم میگویند «تقصیر ما چی است؟ طالب است دیگه ما کاری نمیتانیم.»

زنان باید بدانند که جان ما، زندگی ما، آرزو های ما، صحت ما، هیچکدام در سیستم مردسالار اهمیتی ندارد. تنها و تنها کنترل بر ما و بدن های ما برای این سیستم مهم است. هیچوقت باور نکنید که اینها هیچ کدام از قانون هایشان، یا حرفشان یا عمل شان برای محافظت از شماست. هدف شان محافظت از غرور احمقانه و مردانگی خودشان است.
