You couldn’t be more wrong about Abu Dhabi.

Allow me to explain why.

Obviously, you haven’t been to Abu Dhabi in a long time.

As a family destination, I genuinely believe there’s no place on earth better for a vacation. In fact, I’d bet that once your kids visit, they’ll want to come back every year.

Let me give you just one example: Yas Island.

And it’s not really an island in the traditional sense—it’s fully connected to the city by highways.

On Yas Island alone, you have:

• Ferrari World — the world’s largest indoor theme park and home to Formula Rossa, which held the title of the world’s fastest roller coaster for more than a decade.

• Warner Bros. World — voted the world’s best theme park in 2026, with a themed hotel connected directly to the park.

• Yas Waterworld — one of the largest water parks in the region.

• SeaWorld Abu Dhabi — the world’s largest indoor marine-life theme park.

Now here’s the crazy part: all of them are about five minutes drive from each other. (google map it up)���

The island also has more than 10 hotels, Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi’s largest and most sophisticated shopping destination, a marina, beaches, restaurants, and entertainment everywhere you look.

Still not impressed?

While the kids are enjoying the theme parks, moms can spend the day at Yas Mall, and dads can play a round at Yas Links—one of the world’s top-ranked golf courses—which is, unsurprisingly, about five minutes away from everything else.

And it gets even better.

If you still have any energy left after chasing the kids around all week, head to Yas Marina Circuit and try karting, track experiences, or even drag racing.

And yes, since it’s an island, beaches, waterfront walks, sunsets, and boardwalks come naturally with the package.

Now here’s the thing:

Everything I’ve mentioned so far is just one part of Abu Dhabi.

Look up Saadiyat Island. Then Al Reem Island.
You might be surprised by what you find.

And last but not least (in Snoop Dogg’s famous voice), Abu Dhabi has been voted the world’s safest city for the past 10 consecutive years. And Still

So no, Abu Dhabi isn’t a place to visit.

It’s a place people visit once… and then keep coming back to.

ما الذي جعل جميع هؤلاء
بأسمائهم التاريخية، وعلاماتهم التجارية، ونفوذهم العالمي، ما الذي جعلهم يختارون أبوظبي لتكون "منزلهم" الجديد؟
المال؟
هل يعقل يا عزيزي القاريء بأن تغامر كل الأسماء المذكورة أعلاه بتاريخها العريق مقابل ملايين او مليارات؟
ما الذي شاهدوه في أبوظبي ولم يجدوه في أي مكان في العالم؟
ما الذي دفعهم جميعًا، وغيرهم في المستقبل، لهذه البقعة الصغيرة في منتصف خريطة العالم؟
الاجابة باختصار، كل ما يحتاجونه

الأمن، الآمان، البنية التحتية، الطموح، الرؤية، القيادة، سرعة اتخاذ القرار والانجاز، وسهولة ومرونة الأعمال
هل تعلم بأنه في عام 2008 كانت هذه الجزر (ياس والسعديات) التي تتواجد عليها هذه المعالم مجرد جزر رملية بعيدة المنال والوصول؟
انظر إليها الآن
تأمل فيها
في طرقها وشوارعها وتخطيطها ومبانيها الترفيهية والتجارية والسكنية
