@CPATaxTeam@NetSuite I did it with a client in last 12 months. Not easy. Expensive. Seems like a lot of the stuff that should have been canned reports and integrations cost $$$ in consulting fees.
@taxpreptech Client left this year and they said it was because they want more tax planning. They barely break even every year. There’s no tax to plan for.
Does anyone in #taxtwitter have a rec for tax forms software? Previously used CCH Intelliforms but want to get away from CCH. I use it as a supplement to proseries.
@FortWayneCPA I have a situation this year with a client that is a gambling influencer on social media. He wants to take his losses as business expenses. He will make a profit after deducting losses. How would you handle that?
@nobletaxhelp Did you receive anything from the IRS regarding the closing or did you have to check their transcripts? I have 2 going on now and radio silence the last 3 weeks.
#taxtwitter having problems with linking my CAF to my IRS tax pro account. I received the PIN in the mail and when I go to link on the website I get an error “Enter PIN is not available”. The phone number on the PIN letter is the pract line and they have no idea @FortWayneCPA
@mbillowitch@uptonaccounting I’m preparing them but my point is if you miss notifying a few clients you are doing them a favor and it’s not your responsibility ultimately.
@TheRedheadCPA@FortWayneCPA Seems like the link your caf is generating a new pin. Wish there was a phone number to call. I’m going to keep trying daily. Will update if it works. The pin expires in 30 days.
@TheRedheadCPA@FortWayneCPA I called pract priority line and e services and they have no idea. I also received the pin in the mail 20 times. Same pin, 20 envelopes.
