@per_p Sounds familiar only with me that is how I move between todo list applications… never one with the magic mojo to keep my stuff sorted ;) #goodluck
@SynchroM Agree. The end-user should still be in control. What do you think went wrong? I feel user education is lacking. I always felt that it is up to the website owners to do their best to convince users to opt-in for tracking. We still live in an ad-revenue driven world, unfortunately.
@fedorovicius That looks interesting. Would it be linked to a GA ‘visitor property’ or a self-defined one? Nice catch either way Julius! #googletagmanager
@iamsoerin Would a free practical one-on-one session help instead? Happy to share some time with someone who is interested in learning Google Tag Manager. Maybe that will help you get started.
@SynchroM 2/2 Maybe a group of GTM admins should start a privacy ethics group in which implementations adhere to full privacy guidelines. *making note to self*
@SynchroM GTM loads a single remote script gtm.js. In it, admins can add scripts. I understand your point of view, but feel safe in saying that much of it depends on WHO installs and maintains GTM. As a business you can control this, but it's harder to control what others do in GTM. 1/2
