Seems to me if you're an ex player in charge there's zero accountability. But if you're a foreign coach just outside the top 4 playing a back 3 demanding standards you're a criminal to football and must be removed.

If I was a player I'd be fuming with this decision. The coaching and fitness is a joke, the results are dreadful, then the ownership basically says it's all ok and business as usual. Basically saying that it's ok to be shit.
Wayne Rooney:
"I'd love to walk in that [#mufc's] dressing room and f*****g sit them all down and say, what the f**k are you doing?
What type of performance do you think this is? Do you think you deserve to wear that shirt with how you are walking around the pitch?
Put a f*****g firework up their a**e because they’re not f*****g doing anything." [@UnitedStandMUFC]
I'm no owner or CEO but this is how to run this crisis for Dummies.
1. Sack Carrick yesterday and put a statement out about standards and ambition

3. Announce the new manager
